Dammam, Saudi Arabia, an Egyptian man convicted of murder was beheaded penultimate week. According to a release from the Saudi Arabian Interior Ministry, Al-Hayel ai-Sayed Mohammedain was found guilty of murdering Abdeen Mahmoud Mohammed, another Egyptian, by hitting him on the head with an axe, and of stealing his wallet, a ministry statement said.
Mohammedain was executed in the eastern city of Dammam, bringing tot 31 the number of people executed this year in the kingdom for various capitals, crimes. In separate incidents, an Afghan and a Syrian each had his right hand amputated after being found guilty of pick-pocketing in Haaram, in Makkah, the ministry said. Mohammed Nabi Rostum, an Afghan, and AhmedAkash Abdul Kader, from Syria, stole from worshippers in the Kaabah, in Makkah, the ministry said.
