Q20:114 :"High above all is Allah, the King. the Truth! Be not in haste with the Quran before its revelation to you is completed, but say, 'a my Lord! Increase me in KNOWLEDGE'."
KNOWLEDGE is the power but you must seek it from Allah who is above every human event or wisdom. Allah reveals Himself gradually, so pray for increase in your KNOWLEDGE of Him.
Q39:9 :"Say: Are those equal, those who know and those who do not know? It is those. who are endowed with understanding that receive admonition".
KNOWLEDGE exalts and it also makes clear. It turns you away from darkness to light, from error to right conduct. Seek understanding but also receive admonition.
Q58:11 : "...Allah will raise up to (suitable) ranks (and degrees), those of you who believe and who have been granted KNOWLEDGE… "
Be at the top of the class, rise up by your KNOWLEDGE. Increase your iman (faith) with true KNOWLEDGE and act on it.
Q35:28: "...those who truly fear Allah, among His servants who have KNOWLEDGE: for Allah is Exalted in Might, Oft-Forgiving."
Fear Allah - that is the fountain of wisdom. For such fear is the same as appreciation and love -a recitation for the marvellous creation of the universe and love for His Grace and Mercy.
Q2:21 :'Those to whom We have given the Book study it as it should be studied: they are the ones that believe therein ... "
Go back to the basics. KNOWLEDGE- pure and true - comes from Allah. Drink the clear spring of faith - read the Qur'an always. A verse or a juz' (l/30th portion) a day. May Allah make it easy.
Q68:1 - 3 : "Nun. By the Pen and by the Record which men write - you are not by the Grace of your Lord mad or possessed. Nay verily for you is a Reward Unfailing. "
There is clear KNOWLEDGE and unfailing reward in the study of the Qur'an.
Q55:1 - 4: "Ar-Rahman, It is He Who 'has taught the Quran. He has created man: He has taught him an intelligent speech. "
Ultimately, it is Allah who teaches for
"...Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things)". ( 49:13)
AN EXAMPLE TO COPY-
"Also mentioned in the Book, Idris: he was a man of truth (and sincerity), (and) prophet: and We raised him to a lofty station" (Q19:56 - 57).
"And (remember) Ismail, Idris and Dhul-Kifl, all (men) of constancy and patience; We admitted them to Our Mercy; for they were of the Righteous ones" (Q21:85 - 86).
Idris is a derivative of an Arabic word 'dams' which means 'lesson', 'reading' and 'education'. He (PBUH) was said to be continuously in the habit of teaching his people and especially by the use of the pen, so he came to be known and recognised in the Qur'an as Idris. The Qur'anic description of this honoured Prophet of Allah (PBUH) clearly shows the five qualities that true knowledge should bestow on the true seeker of knowledge.
