He Stole while he was a Child
Question: [1] Whilst I was 14 years old, a relative, may Allaah have mercy upon him from another country used to visit my father. I used to steal money from him, which was in the currency of his country, exchange it at the money exchangers and then spend it. When I grew up, I deeply regretted what I did and I am now determined to repent. but what is upon me? Do I return the stolen property to its rightful owner? Or is it permissible for me to spend in various forms of charity and intend that he rewarded for it, bearing in mind that he is still alive?
Answer: It is obligatory for you to return to its rightful owner by any method in which it will reach him and it is not your prerogative to spend it in anyway.
Ruling On tattoo
Question: [2] What is the ruling on tattooing? If a girl had been tattooed whilst she was young, is there any sin upon her? We hope for information, and may Allaah reward you with good.
Answer: Tattooing is forbidden and it is a major sin because the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] cursed the one performs tattoos and the one has it done to himself. So if a girl was tattooed whilst she was young and couldnt stop that, there is no blame upon her. This young girl couldnt manage her own affairs so the sin is upon the one who did this to her, because AIIaah does not burden a soul with more than what he can bear. She should remove it if possible without harming herself, and Allaah is the one who gives success.
