We will now conclude by listing a number of benefits that are attained as a result of this Ikhlaas and which give evidence to greatness.
Key to Allaahs Mercy: Sincerity the first key that opens the heart to receive the Mercy of Allaah. In fact the acceptance of ones deeds depends on ones purity of intention, which in turn depends on the level of sincerity in ones heart.
Optimum Rewards: With sincerity, a person can attain the highest ranks in the Sight of Allaah Almighty, make the most of his/her deeds, and even be rewarded.for righteous deeds that he or she was not able to perform, While the Prophet (salallaahu alayhi wa sallam) was in a Ghazwa (battle) he said, "Some people have remained behind us in Medina and we never crossed a mountain path or a valley. but they were with us (i.e. sharing the reward with us). as they have been held back by a (legal) excuse." (Bukhari). These people were only able to get the reward of jihad with their sincere intention even though they never stepped out of their homes.
The Pleasure of Allaah: On the other hand, without sincerity (which results from not taking care of the heart) a person may end up in Hell-Fire regardless of how righteous ones deeds appear to be. What is the evidence for this statement? Anas ibn Malik (RA) narrated that the Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) said:"Whoever leaves this world with sincerity to Allaah Almighty. the One and Only. and performs the prayers and pays the Zakah will die in the pleasure of Allaah." (Bukhari)
Aid of the Ummah: The Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) said, "Allaah will help this Ummah on account of its weak ones, due to their supplications prayers and sincerity" Meaning that the affliction, the humiliation and the Oppression which we find ourselves in can be removed on account of the sincerity that we as individuals try to develop and maintain as a lasting quality, and this in turn is What benefits and aids the ummah on a wider scale.
Security from Hellfire: With Ikhlaas one will be saved from Hellfire and granted a lofty position in jannah. "And they give food out of love for (Allaah) to the needy,the orphan and the captive. (Saying) "We feed you only for the countenance of Allaah, we wish no reward from you nor gratitude. Indeed, we fear from Our Lord a Day severe and distressful. So Allaah will protect them from the evil of that Day and give them guradiance and happiness. And will reward them for What they patiently endured (with) a garden (in Jannah) and silk (garments)." (Q76[lhsan]:8-12)
Love of the Angels: The Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa allam) said "When Allaah the Sealted loves a servant He calls to Jibreel: Indeed Allaah the Exalted loves so and so, therefore love Him.so Jibreel loves him and then he calls the inhabitants of the heavens (i.e.angels): Indeed Allaah loves so and so, therefore love him. The inhabitants of the heaven love him and acceptance is made for him upon the earth.
Good Repute: The Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi Wa sallam) said: "There is no servant except that he has a reputation (amongst the angels) in the sky. If his reputation is good in the sky it is placed Upon the earth and if it is bad it is placed upon the earth."
Removal of Difficulties: This indicated in the incidence narrated by the Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi Wasallam) about the three men who set out on a journey and they got trapped in a cave. Each one of them called upon Allaah to remove the affliction from them on account of their sincere actions which they had done previously. One man gave his parents preference Over his own children despite the fact that they were starving, another man refrained from an illicit sexual relation with a cousin of his whom he loved dearly and the third gave back to a man who had Worked for him but did not take his wages,the investments he had made with his wages .. AII of them said: O Allaah if I did this seeking nothing but Your Face then deliver us from this evil. (Bukhari) And Allaah delivered them.
Acceptance of Duaa: This is indicated by the hadeeth we have just mentioned Safety from Misguidance: With Ikhlaas We can be saved from misguidance as Prophet Yusuf (alayhi salam) was saved. Allaah says: "And thus (it was) that We should avert .from him evil and immorality. Indeed, he Was of Our Mukhlaseen (Sincere) servants."(QI2[YuSuf]:24)
Turning of Fate: With Ikhlaas the books can be turned in Our favour in the last minutes of Our lives just as what happened to the man that murdered 99 men. Allaah saved him in the end because of his sincerity in repentance. So these are some of the benefits,and how great they are, for those who make their actions sincerely and purely for the sake of Allaah,we pray that Allaah benefits us all and gives us to drink from the fountain of lkhlaas.
