The one who is admitted into al-Jannah (paradise) out of the favours of AlIaah- May AlIaah count us all amongst them- will be honoured with seeing his lord, whom fie believed and worshiped on earth even without seeing Him. Allaah says:
"Some faces that Day shall be Naadirah (shining and radiant) looking at their Lord (Allaah)." [Q 75: 22 23].
Abu Saeed al-Khudree [RA] said:" we said 0 Messenger of Allaah! Will we see our Lord on the Day of Judgment? He said:
"Do you have any problem in seeing the sun and he moon when it is cloudless? We said, No. He said, verily, you will not have any problem in seeing your Lord on that day except as you see the sun and the moon." (Bukhaari and Muslim).
Allaah also says: "For those who have done good is the best (reward, i.e. Paradise) and even more Neither darkness nor dust nor any humiliating disgrace shall cover their faces. They are the dwellers of Paradise, they will abide therein forever." [Q 10:26].
Concerning this verse, Suhayb bn Sanaan an- Numaree [RA] reported that the Messenger [peace and blessings be upon him] said:
"When the adherents of al-Jannah enter into al-Jannah, Allaah Exalted be He will say, Do you want something so that I provide it for you? They will say, Have You not made us happy, admitted us to al-Jannah and saved us from the hell? So, the veil will be removed and they would not have been given anything more beloving to them than seeing their Lord - The Most High." (Muslim and Tirmidhee).
So, the greatest favour and blessing of Allaah, The Most Merciful upon His servants in al- Jannah on that Day is to remove the veil so that they see His Face, Glory be to Him. Not Here Here in this world, it is not possible for anyone to see Allaah. He says: "
No vision can grasp Him, but His Grasp is over all vision. He is the Most Subtle and Courteous, Well-Acquainted with all things. " [Q 6:103].
Not at Miraaj
The Messenger [peace and blessings be upon, him] was invited by his lord to the heavens accompanied by Malak Jibril [AS] as is proven in I verses of the Quraan and ahaadeeth of the Messenger [peace and blessings be upon him]. The wonders in creation amongst so many other things were shown to the Messenger [peace and blessings be upon him] and this journey is referred to as Miraaj. At the tree called Sidratul Muntaha, the Messenger [peace and blessings be upon him] proceeded alone to stand before the lord of the Worlds above the heavens.
Abdullah bn Shaqeeq al-Uqaylee said, "I said to Abu Dharr, If I had met the Messenger [peace and blessings be upon him] I would have asked him. He (Abu Dharr) (RA) said, About what would you ask? I said" I would ask whether he saw his lord? He said, I asked him [the Prophet] I said, what did he say? He [the Prophet] said: "I saw light. How can I see Him?" (Muslim and Ibn Khuzaymah).
